Margot Delacroix

Creative Director

Margot Delacroix

Margot Delacroix arrived at Cock Photography by way of Paris, Milan, and a growing disillusionment with the fashion industry's relentless appetite for the unremarkable. After fifteen years directing editorial shoots for Vogue Paris and Numéro, she found herself drawn to what she calls "the raw, unaffected beauty of galline subjects."

"A rooster does not perform for the camera," she has written. "He simply is. That authenticity — that complete absence of vanity — is what makes them the most honest subjects I have ever worked with."

Margot oversees all creative direction at the studio, from set design and wardrobe to the conceptual arc of each series. She studied at the École des Beaux-Arts and holds a particular fondness for the intersection of haute couture and agricultural heritage.
